Joel Engardio, elected in 2022 as city supervisor to represent District 4, has provoked his constituents into organizing a recall against him. Now, by May 29, 2025, that effort has been fruitful in that signature gathering met the requirements mandated by San Francisco's Department of Elections. A recall election is therefore officially called, set for September 16th, 2025. Joel is certain to be removed from office.
Simply put, Joel is Toast.
